What is PermissionsExPlus?

PermissionsExPlus is a maintained fork of PermissionsEx, the permissions plugin used on thousands of Minecraft servers since 2011.

This fork keeps the familiar /pex command structure while adding:

• Active maintenance and modern platform support
• Spigot, Paper, BungeeCord, Velocity, and Sponge from one jar
• A modern dev.rono.permissions.api integration API
• Restored classic ru.tehkode.* hook plugin compatibility

Why a fork?

The original PermissionsEx project became unmaintained. Server owners still relied on PEX’s permission model, command structure, and ecosystem of hook plugins. PermissionsExPlus exists to keep that working on modern Minecraft versions with a clear path forward.
